HOW TO REPORT AN OUTAGE
In the event of a power outage at your premises, check the fuses or circuit breakers. If they are okay, then determine if your neighbors' homes or nearby streetlights are also without power.
If so, call 800-696-6552 to report an outage.
This short video describes the steps taken when restoring power.

During severe weather, a major power outage could be widespread and prolonged. Please note the following:
► The telephone lines may be extremely busy and therefore be routed to the cooperative's automated answering system.
► You don't need to call again unless your neighbors' lights come back on and your service has not been restored or you are looking for an update.
► You may also click on the statewide Outage Map link to track the outage. The outage map is updated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
► If the outage affects a large number of members, the cooperative may also contact radio or television stations with updates to report on the situation and progress.
► The best places to get updates are on this website's home page or by calling the co-op at 800-696-6552.
Safety Reminder: Please remember that all downed powerlines should be considered "energized" and dangerous. Stay away from them and contact Consumers Energy immediately.
