Youth Tour 2024

Annually, Consumers Energy Cooperative of Iowa sponsors one member's dependent to spend a week-long, all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., in June. The student must be a high school sophomore, junior, or senior and a dependent of a member of Consumers Energy Cooperative of Iowa.

The Youth Tour allows students the opportunity to visit historic monuments and museums, meet with U.S. Representatives and Senators, and meet other students from around the country on Rural Electric Youth Day.

2. Why do you want to be Consumers Energy's delegate for the 2027 Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.?

Applicants must currently be high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors whose parents or legal guardians are members of Consumers Energy in the state of Iowa. Family members of cooperative employees and directors are not eligible. The contest is based on the information contained in the material enclosed.
